Fences come down in the night, usually in February, usually when the garden is open to a dog or a road. We take 24-hour call-outs for exactly that, and a lot of our work is a quick make-safe followed by a proper repair once the weather calms down.
Repairs are also where you find out whether a fence is worth saving. If two posts have gone in a twenty-year-old run, replacing those two is money well spent. If the whole line is rotted at ground level, patching it is throwing money away — and we'd rather tell you that than sell you six months.

Is it worth repairing or should I replace the lot?
Depends what's failed and where. Posts rotting at ground level across the whole run means replacement is the better spend; a couple of broken panels in an otherwise sound fence is a repair. We'll give you the honest answer at the quote.
